Mike Cleland is the founder of Charted Path, a performance consulting firm for staffing companies dedicated to identifying areas needing improvement and offering attainable solutions. Additionally, Cleland serves as a staffing industry consultant, and is a Certified Contingent Workforce Professional through SIA. This year saw the release of Cleland’s newest book, Breaking Through: Leadership Disciplines from Top Performing Staffing Firms, co-authored with SIA President Barry Asin, and a follow-up to his 2013 book Behind the Wheel: Driving Excellence in Staffing Operations. Cleland has worked with more than 80 staffing firms, ranging from startups to $600 million firms, and was previously named to SIA’s 2018 Staffing 100 List.
